Robotics technology can be integral for any work aspect, since it can transform practices, raise efficiency and safety levels, as well as provide enhanced services. At the same time robotics is the driving force that will lead to a new generation of autonomous devices and cognitive artefacts and it will show even more disruptive effects on the competitivness of non-manufacturing industries such as agriculture!

But what are those effects? What lies ahead? What are the opportunities and what are the challenges? What is the current situation of the overall ecosystem? Those are some of the questions that will be discussed in the forthcoming agROBOfood online event. Experts and participants will have the chance to dive into the future of agri-food robotics from many and different aspects in four sessions through a three day period:
