The world is once more facing turbulent times due to COVID-19. Still, we must be optimistic and stay strong.

In the current issue we are happily announcing the results of the first Open Call for Innovation Experiments.

In alphabetical order the winners are:

  • Insect Capture Automation TeCHnology (Consortium of SMEs from: Netherlands, Belgium)
  • Multi-row Modular Robotic Weed Remover (MM-ROWER), Dahlia Robotics GmbH (Consortium of SMEs from: Germany)
  • NEWMAN (Non-chEmical Weeding MAchiNe) (Consortium of SMEs from: Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, Austria).

In this issue we also highlight the agROBOfood Open Call for Industrial Challenges that was launched on the 20th of October and showcase the Augmented Horticulture demonstrative project.

Our standard columns on news from the industry caught “On our Radar”, “Forthcoming Events” and “Project News”, are again rich in content…and we are launching the “agROBOfood TV”, a new standard column, where we select recent videos from frontrunners and demonstrative cases.
