Funding Opportunities in agriculture and robotics

Digital Europe Programme calls

Under the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL), the European Commission expects to open calls for proposals to fund Artificial Intelligence Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEFs) in February 2022. The calls will include €30 million for TEFs in the agri-food sector. An online info and matchmaking day is being organised on 29 November 2021. 👉 More information here.

The GROW Impact Accelerator

This world-class accelerator programme drives transformative change in our global agri-food system. The 20-week GROW Impact Accelerator, provides teams with the personal and commercial support they need to scale up rapidly and create lasting positive change across the globe. 

Among other benefits, participating start-ups will receive investment of up to $100,000 in cash and $100,000 in-kind, on founder-friendly terms. Applicants should at minimum have an MVP, be well on the way to establishing product-market fit and be operating in at least one market. Their interests stretch end-to-end across the agri-food value chain, with a focus on technologies that allow for scalability while delivering tangible impact at either an environmental or social level. EIT Food Call for Proposals 2022

EIT Food is calling for consortia of organisations to submit proposals for collaborative activities which will bring innovative technology solutions to the market in the agri-food sector. Call 2022 is open to all organisations eligible for Horizon Europe funding. It is not a prerequisite to be an EIT Food partner to submit a proposal. Organisations intending to participate in the call must be eligible for EU funding according to Horizon Europe rules, e.g. incorporated in Europe or associated countries. StartLife Accelerate

StartLife Accelerate is the #1 acceleration programme for Foodtech & Agtech startups to validate customer segments, raise funding and access leading corporates and investors in the industry. The 8th edition of the StartLife Accelerate programme will start in March 2022. The program is open to promising agri-food-tech start-ups from all over the world. The program can be attended (almost) fully online, though there will also be opportunities to join sessions in person. If you are interested, make sure to (pre)apply by 25 January 2022.
