agROBOfood Industrial Challenges Open Call is officially launched, and it will be open until January 20th 2021! This is a call for individual SMEs in agri-food and robotics. Real industry problems seek real tech solutions, so the agri-food and robotics consortium partners together with the Industrial Advisory Board have defined 5 real industry challenges/problems stemming from their portfolio. Each challenge has a technical and a complementary component, covering both the development or improvement of (existing) robotic technology-based solutions and a socio-economic analysis or assessment of social, economic, environmental, or ethical aspects of the newly designed solution. Industrial Challenges Open Call aims at selecting approximately eight (8) Industrial Challenges that tackle a commercial need within agri-food and offer a solution based on robotic technologies. Selected SMEs will receive up to 300 thousand euros, to implement their proposed projects lasting 17 months and divided into three progressive phases of implementation. After positive evaluation, each phase is followed by financial support.
